Vector Companies MLM

Vector Marketing is multi-level marketing that handles sales of Cutco Company from many years. This company’s strategy of selling has always come under the scanner. As Wikipedia and few more sites have called Vector as a scam company.

Vector Company uses direct marketing strategy like newspaper, posters, mouth to mouth, and they also use many other media channels through the internet. They are then calling people, door to door marketing, arranging parties and the distribution of fliers in such parties.

All these aggressive tactics are not of standard, and it has received many criticisms for that.

My View On
Cutco/ Vector Marketing:

2 stars review

Well, for me it’s not a pyramid scheme, and the simple reason for that is they are selling products for more than six decades. This shows that people still purchase their knives.

Is Cutco a Pyramid Scheme

Yes, they are under scanner for many reasons, but to sum up, they are selling things in the market.

The problem is Vector’s marketing; the way they are doing it is not the right way.

For college students and people who are looking to join this company for them, I would say don’t waste your time.

I would rather say find a good job instead of this company.

Because if you think long term perspective, it’s not worthy, so you need to plan well rather than Vector Marketing.

I don’t want to be harsh on Cutco, but Vector’s marketing strategies is forcing me to do so.

I cannot give positive feedback on Cutco Company. Seriously I don’t understand why companies try such things when they have right products to sell in the market. They can try many other things to market products don’t know why MLM?

For the people who are looking for work, I would recommend them to join Affiliate marketing. It is a more legit way to do work online, and you can go long by joining Affiliate Program like Wealthy Affiliate. You do not have to go door to door for selling things. You can easily do it by online through Affiliate Marketing.

So don’t waste time on MLM and all try Affiliate Program like Wealthy Affiliate for a better future.

Hello, ladies! I hope you liked this post. I started my online business journey in 2003, worked for others or sign in at wrong programs. A three years ago I started with affiliate marketing, and now I am running my own online business, working from home. So, I can help you to start your own business.

I think it`s a wise decision. MLM companies often have excellent products (in most case, little more pricey), but when we are talking about business opportunity statistics are low.

    • Jelena

I doubt that it is the right decision for anyone. I lost a few years (and a lot of money) to various MLM companies. It’s a shame I didn’t look at the statistics at the time and how many people manage to make some money in MLM – that’s less than 1%.

  • Melissa L Cushing

This has been super interesting and I appreciate many of the many informative posts that you share. I have not heard of Cutco before and appreciate you sharing. I may browse around but with so many things to do online… I may pass on this one 🙂

    • Jelena

Hello Kita, and welcome to my website. Most of the multilevel marketing businesses are showing a meager percentage of people who makes money selling their products and inviting others. In many cases, it’s less than 1%.

  • Jacinta Zechariah

I have heard about Cutco before and even thought of joining but then had second thoughts because the knives are quite expensive and probably those would be difficult to sell. What you say in this post just reinforces my idea of Cutco.

    • Jelena

Hi Jacinta! A lot of products in the MLM industry are high priced. Mostly because people who start working as multilevel referrals need to purchase some amount of products monthly. So, instead, to be companies sellers, they are actually loyal, perfect buyers. And they will buy products no meter what is the price – thinging that it will make them millionaires.

  • Michael

Well, I can understand that trying different things is worth since maybe they have tried some other ways that did not work so.. Just my own opinion though.

  • Aishwarya Shenolikar

I suppose I quite agree with your deduction! As a consumer, it sounds like a good idea to use their products, but not so much as their employees. I liked the way you have written the post! It could be a case study for Management students!
